    "message": "Correct the claim about prior art\n\nThe README said existing linked-brushing tools in R support only views of\nindividual data points. That is not right, and it is the kind of claim a\nreviewer checks first.\n\nFilling a mark in proportion to a selection is an established technique with\na name, proportional brushing. Tableau does it with set actions, Vega-Lite\nships a layered crossfilter-highlight example, glue does it in Python, and\nin R the same Vega-Lite spec renders through vegawidget or altair.\n\nThe crosstalk quotation still stands and is still worth having, since\ncrosstalk is the standard way of linking htmlwidgets and says plainly that\nit does not cover this. But that is a statement about crosstalk, not about\nthe state of the art, and the README now says so.\n\nWhat is left is narrower and defensible: a subject belonging to many groups\nat once, bars measured against an arm's analysis population rather than\nagainst the selection, a walkable hierarchy, and four lines of R instead of\nan authored Vega specification.\n",
